Yohnco supplied the concrete for New Cooperative’s Feed Mill located in Rowan, IA. We worked with Younglove Construction to pour 24 hours a day for seven straight days. Over 2,700 yards was used to raise this impressive structure.
Yohnco worked closely with Larson Contracting on the Downtown Clear Lake Sidewalk Project. With the old pavers removed, a ready mix foundation was poured for the new bricks. Not only is the end result beautiful but far more stable for a lasting result.
Yohnco provided the ready mix for the new sidewalk along Clear Lake’s North Shore. Some 2,000 feet of new sidewalk was poured along the lake's edge making for one of the nicest strolls in North Iowa.
The project involved site work grading of the building pad and service roads for a 46,000 square foot Dry Fertilizer Facility. Over 8,500 tons of gravel was imported for the service roads, 30,000 cubic yards of soil was excavated for the site grading, and 4500 tons of sand was delivered for backfilling structural elements.
This project required the installation of 3,200 linear feet of concrete pipe storm sewer with pipe sizes reaching 54” in diameter. The project also was designed with 37 storm sewer structures the largest being a 96” diameter manhole.
This project required YohnCo to do just a little bit of everything to create a weigh scale for the Airport pit.
